Northeast RBC is a division of Mountain Machine Works (MMW) which was established in 1982 by its founder and President, Bruce R. Tisdale. MMW's early beginnings as a small job/machine shop evolved into a modern full service enterprise. MMW is considered as one of Maine’s premier shops by offering our clients engineering, design, welding, fabrication, custom machining, contract manufacturing, as well as our specialty of on-site/in-place machining. With decades of experience and long term focus on Rotating Biological Contactor Services, we have a dedicated RBC division Northeast RBC Specialists. MMW continues to serve our customers by offering to two exciting product lines. Xpandrel® Precision Expanding Mandrels & IronMaster On-Site Rebar Bending and Shearing.
Mountain Machine Works in the Community
MMW is active with several organizations. We are strong Chamber of Commerce Member, Members of the Manufacturers Association of Maine (MAMe), as well as outstanding supporters of the Maine Community Colleges in which the President of MMW serves as a Board Member for CMCC. MMW is an active members of the United Way as well as continually showing support to our local School systems and Adult Education Programs. We strongly believe in education and try to support all of the above organizations that do their part in educating and supporting people at many different levels.
